Twelve years ago, in a quiet neighborhood in southern China,
our founder, Lin, sat in her tiny studio apartment with her old sewing kit — a wooden box passed down from her grandmother.

Lin was not a business owner.
She wasn’t a sculptor, or an artist, or even a professional seamstress.

She was just someone who loved her dog.

Her Shiba Inu, Dodo, had been with her since college —
through heartbreaks, job losses, new beginnings, and the slow, uncertain years of early adulthood.
